Once again, we find ourselves at the close of another year here at DataLab. As the dust settles, it’s safe to say that 2023 has been a year filled with accomplishments.
Ladies Program
We successfully trained and mentored several ladies through our Data Program, guiding them to earn certification from our esteemed data school with fee support. We had ladies across various states in Nigeria, with a notable presence in Lagos State. Additionally, we engaged in compelling real-world projects certifying them as Data Analysts, Business Analysts and Data Scientists.

We welcomed and provided onsite, online and hybrid modes of training to professionals from diverse backgrounds at our esteemed data school, offering passionate instructors and cutting-edge learning resources. The dynamic atmosphere of our class sessions proved highly beneficial for our trainees.

Our trainees engaged in prestigious projects ranging from business intelligence for subscription services, energy analytics, and business data insights dashboards to trend analysis and automated medical diagnosis. Utilizing a variety of databases, data analysis, and programming tools, they demonstrated expertise in uncovering insights crucial for informing strategic decisions.
Product Development
We go beyond traditional training; we immerse our trainees in product development. In 2023, we kickstarted the development of a data visualization-sharing platform, poised to provide clients with off-the-shelf visual solutions. Additionally, we launched our electricity monitoring project, commencing the first phase of data collection to monitor consumption in residential homes in Abuja.
